Choosing the right ladder height is important. Buying a ladder that's too short in an effort to save money can result in excessive stretching to the left or right while working, risking a fall. Also, choosing a ladder that's too big can lead to overextending yourself, not taking into account the maximum dimensions of the ladder and the room.
Therefore, choosing the right ladder will save time and create a safe working environment.
An insufficient ladder length forces you to reach too far, which can disrupt your balance and lead to a fall.
A ladder that's too tall can be installed at an incorrect angle. Ladder height must be chosen correctly to avoid undesirable consequences:
Length is a common characteristic of ladders, but when using a ladder, it's also important to consider the safe working height. An extension ladder should be set at a 75-degree angle. Standing on the top three rungs of the ladder is not recommended.
When working with a stepladder, stand on the platform or a step below, holding onto the safety bar or sides.

When choosing a roof ladder, choose one that extends 1 meter above the support point.
If carrying a long ladder is difficult, use a telescopic ladder. The main thing is that the ladder's length matches the roof height or is slightly longer.
If the ceiling height in the room being renovated is approximately 2.5 meters, a stepladder with a platform height of 0.6-0.9 meters is suitable for ceiling repairs. Repairs to higher spaces should be carried out using a stepladder with a platform height of 1.2-1.5 meters.

For servicing a tall storefront or replacing one or more suspended ceiling tiles in a retail outlet, a stepladder with non-slip feet is convenient. Choose a stepladder based on your working height, knowing the height of your ceiling or display case.
